    1.离散控制系统

     

    离散控制是PLC擅长的控制领域，广泛应用于产品加工行业和产品装配行业。

     

    简单的PLC系统在机架中只包含单一控制器和多个I/O模块。而复杂系统会有下列情况：

     

    一个机架中有多个控制器；

     

    多个控制器接入多个网络；

     

    I/O位于多个平台，分布在多个位置，可通过多个I/O总线或网络链接。

     

    2.冗余控制系统

     

    为了提高PLC系统的可靠性和可用性，工厂工艺通常需要PLC系统能够支持冗余控制。确保即使在工作控制器失效时，能够切换到备份控制器继续工作。

     

    下图为施耐电气2016年推出的全新一代用于冗余控制的以太网可编程自动化控制器（ePAC）昆腾+ePAC。
